What the Brazil visa rules mean for Serbia travellers

Serbia citizens can enter Brazil without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. You only need a valid Serbia passport at the border; immigration officers may still ask for a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation and enough money for your stay. The 90-day limit usually counts calendar days from your arrival, so book your return flight inside that window.

Overstay penalties

$ 100

Under the Migration Law, staying in Brazil after the legal period of one's migration document has run out is punished with a fine for each day of excess, and with deportation if the person does not leave or regularise their status within the period set. For infractions by individuals, the law sets fines between R$ 100 and R$ 10,000. Paying the fine does not prevent refusal of entry if the visitor has already used up the stay available in the migratory year.
