Arrival cards and declarations: Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA)

7 days

Cambodia's e-Arrival portal lists an immigration card, a health declaration and a customs declaration, and offers a Cambodia e-Arrival app. It says all travellers can submit the e-Arrival within 7 days before their arrival and that submission is free, and it lists Techo International Airport, Siem Reap Angkor International Airport and Sihanoukville International Airport. Cambodia's eVisa portal says all travellers are required to fill in the e-Arrival even if they have been granted a visa, and Canada's travel advice says the forms must be completed within 7 days of your scheduled arrival.

Registration after arrival

The UK government says Cambodia's Department of Immigration runs an online registration app, the Foreigners Present in Cambodia System (FPCS). It says the manager or landlord of a hotel, guesthouse or rented accommodation registers guests in the app, and people staying with friends or family or in their own home must register themselves; a Cambodian phone number is needed for the registration to be valid. The UK government also says that if you fail to register, you may be unable to extend your visa. Australia's Smartraveller says the General Department of Immigration requires all foreigners to be registered in FPCS.

Overstay penalties

USD 10

The Australian government says overstay fines are USD 10 per day with no upper limit. An overstay of less than 30 days can be paid on departure at a border crossing; a longer one is paid at the Visa Office opposite the former Phnom Penh International Airport. It says the authorities will not let you leave until the overstay is resolved, and that an overstayer may be detained at an Immigration Removal Centre, deported at their own expense and banned from returning. The UK government also says there is no limit to the fine.
