Visa & Entry Requirements for Dominican Republic
Most travellers can visit the Dominican Republic without a visa: 111 of 198 passports enter visa-free, usually for 30 days.
The UK government says British citizens can visit the Dominican Republic for tourism without a visa for 30 days, and Canada's travel advice says a tourist visa is not required for up to 30 days. The Dirección General de Migración offers tourists who want to stay more than 30 days an extension (prórroga) of up to 120 days. Every passenger entering or leaving must complete the digital e-Ticket form, which Migration says is free. Under Decree No. 691-07, foreigners with permanent residence or a valid multiple-entry visa for the United States, the European Union (Schengen), Canada or Great Britain can enter for tourism with only a valid passport and a tourist card.
