What the Guinea visa rules mean for Saint Kitts and Nevis travellers
Saint Kitts and Nevis passport holders need an eVisa to enter Guinea. You apply online, upload a passport scan and a photo, pay the fee and receive the visa by email. Apply at least one to two weeks before your trip and print the approval — some airlines and border officers ask to see it on paper.
The main option is the Tourist e-Visa.
Documents to prepare
Whatever your visa status, Guinea applies the same entry conditions to every traveller:
- Passport validity: Guinea's border police list a valid passport 'with validity more than 6 months' among the documents needed at Guinean entry checkpoints.
- Vaccinations: Yellow fever: Guinea's border police list a yellow fever certificate among the conditions for the eVisa. The UK government says a certificate is required to enter if you are coming from a country listed as a yellow fever transmission…
- Travel insurance: No official source we could read states a travel insurance requirement for Guinea; the border police's list of entry documents does not include it.
- Return or onward ticket: Guinea's border police list a valid return ticket among the conditions for the visa and among the documents needed upon arrival at Guinean entry checkpoints.
