What the Japan visa rules mean for Indonesia travellers
Indonesia citizens can enter Japan without a visa and stay for up to 15 days. You only need a valid Indonesia passport at the border; immigration officers may still ask for a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation and enough money for your stay. The 15-day limit usually counts calendar days from your arrival, so book your return flight inside that window.
The main option is the Short-Term Stay Visa — Single Entry, which costs 15,000 JPY with a processing time of 5 business days.
