Arrival cards and declarations: Digital Landing and Exit Card

48 hours

The Nigeria Immigration Service says all foreigners visiting or departing Nigeria must use its Landing and Exit Card portal to pre-process their arrival and departure; the portal is not for transit purposes, its services are completely free, and a landing card can be created only 24–48 hours before arrival. Failure to comply leads to refusal of entry or departure at immigration checkpoints. Its home page says the cards commence May 1, 2025.

Arrival cards and declarations: Nigeria Health Declaration Form (NCDC)

In response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says travellers from countries with active or relevant Ebola transmission may be required to complete a health declaration form before boarding, and that passengers from all other countries are exempt at this time. The form is free; you receive a PDF and QR code by email and present it to the port health officer on arrival.
