Antigua and Barbuda citizens can enter North Macedonia without a visa. You only need a valid Antigua and Barbuda passport at the border; immigration officers may still ask for a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation and enough money for your stay.

North Macedonia's Law on Foreigners says a foreigner intending to stay no longer than 90 days in any 180-day period is admitted if, among other conditions, they justify the purpose and conditions of the stay and have means of subsistence for the stay and for the return home or transit; the Government sets the amount, and means can be assessed on the basis of cash, traveller's cheques and credit cards owned by the foreigner, among others. The Foreign Ministry lists proof of sufficient resources for the stay (credit card/bank statement) among the documents for a short-stay (C) visa.

The UK government tells British travellers they must register with the local police in the town or city where they are staying within 48 hours of arrival; hotel staff register guests at check-in. It says to keep the registration document until you leave, that anyone who registered with the police directly must de-register 24 hours before leaving, that registration with the police is possible online (in Macedonian), and that not registering may bring a fine, detention and a court hearing, or a restriction on returning. Canada's travel advice says to register within 24 hours of arrival.

For a foreigner on a short stay, paid accommodation providers must report the stay to the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 12 hours of providing the service, and other hosts within 48 hours of arrival. A foreigner using neither must register within 48 hours of crossing the border, or report a change of address within 48 hours. A foreigner who fails to register is fined 25 to 250 euros in denar equivalent.

A foreigner stays unlawfully if they do not meet, or no longer meet, the conditions for entry and stay; this includes a visa-exempt foreigner staying more than 90 days in the 180 days before each day of stay. Unlawful stay is fined 50 to 250 euros in denar equivalent, and the misdemeanour sanction of expulsion may also be imposed. A ban on re-entry cannot exceed five years; after an expulsion decision it is at least six months.
