What the Russia visa rules mean for Cameroon travellers

Cameroon citizens need a visa issued in advance by an embassy or consulate of Russia. Start the application several weeks before departure: you will typically need a passport valid for six months with blank pages, a completed application form, passport photos, a travel itinerary, proof of accommodation and of sufficient funds, and sometimes an invitation letter or bank statements.

The main option is the Tourist visa.

Arrival cards and declarations: Migration card

Russia's Foreign Ministry says migration card forms are handed to arriving foreigners by the crew (air, sea or river), the train crew, the bus driver or, for private transport or on foot, border control officials. The exit part (coupon B) is kept for the whole stay and handed to border control officials on departure. The UK government says you must register with the local authorities if you are staying anywhere for more than 7 working days, and that your hotel will do this automatically.
