What the Russia visa rules mean for Cuba travellers

Cuba citizens can enter Russia without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. You only need a valid Cuba passport at the border; immigration officers may still ask for a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation and enough money for your stay. The 90-day limit usually counts calendar days from your arrival, so book your return flight inside that window.

Arrival cards and declarations: Migration card

Russia's Foreign Ministry says migration card forms are handed to arriving foreigners by the crew (air, sea or river), the train crew, the bus driver or, for private transport or on foot, border control officials. The exit part (coupon B) is kept for the whole stay and handed to border control officials on departure. The UK government says you must register with the local authorities if you are staying anywhere for more than 7 working days, and that your hotel will do this automatically.
