ICA says all travellers must submit the SG Arrival Card with electronic health declaration within three days, including the day of arrival, before arriving, except those transiting without seeking immigration clearance and residents entering through Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints. Overstay penalties

90 days

Remaining in Singapore after a pass expires, without reasonable cause and without other authority to remain, is an offence. For an unlawful stay of up to 90 days: a fine of up to S$4,000, or up to 6 months' imprisonment, or both. For more than 90 days: up to 6 months' imprisonment and caning of at least 3 strokes. A person who cannot be caned under the Criminal Procedure Code is fined up to S$6,000 instead of caning.
