Visa & Entry Requirements for Solomon Islands
Most travellers can visit the Solomon Islands without going to an embassy: 0 passports enter visa-free, 198 apply online for an eVisa.
Solomon Islands Immigration says all short-term visas, including exemptions, must be applied for through the e-visa portal, and that you must present your visa grant letter to immigration officers at the port of entry. The Tourist Visa costs USD 50 plus a USD 50 online lodgement fee and allows 3 months' stay per entry, with multiple entries over a year; the 30-day, single-entry Tourist Permit is free, but a USD 50 online lodgement fee is charged. No official source we could read says which nationalities may use the Tourist Permit. Immigration's mutual visa exemption pages for the EU, China, Hong Kong and the UAE list the visa fee as exempted.
