What the Zimbabwe visa rules mean for Côte d'Ivoire travellers
Côte d'Ivoire passport holders need an eVisa to enter Zimbabwe. You apply online, upload a passport scan and a photo, pay the fee and receive the visa by email. Apply at least one to two weeks before your trip and print the approval — some airlines and border officers ask to see it on paper.
The main option is the Single-entry e-Visa, which costs 30 USD.
Documents to prepare
Whatever your visa status, Zimbabwe applies the same entry conditions to every traveller:
- Passport validity: The UK government tells British nationals that to enter Zimbabwe their passport must have an expiry date at least 6 months after the date they arrive, and 3 blank pages.
- Blank passport pages: Your passport needs at least 3 blank pages.
- Vaccinations: Yellow fever: The UK government says that to enter Zimbabwe you must have a certificate proving yellow fever vaccination if you are coming from a country listed as a transmission risk.
- Travel insurance: No official source we could read states a travel insurance requirement for Zimbabwe.
