What the Zimbabwe visa rules mean for Ecuador travellers
Ecuador passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Zimbabwe. There is nothing to apply for in advance — the visa is issued at the airport or land border after you pay the fee. Bring cash in a major currency, a passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket and the address of your first night's accommodation, and expect a queue at busy airports.
The main option is the Visa on Arrival, which costs 30 USD.
Documents to prepare
Whatever your visa status, Zimbabwe applies the same entry conditions to every traveller:
- Passport validity: The UK government tells British nationals that to enter Zimbabwe their passport must have an expiry date at least 6 months after the date they arrive, and 3 blank pages.
- Blank passport pages: Your passport needs at least 3 blank pages.
- Vaccinations: Yellow fever: The UK government says that to enter Zimbabwe you must have a certificate proving yellow fever vaccination if you are coming from a country listed as a transmission risk.
- Travel insurance: No official source we could read states a travel insurance requirement for Zimbabwe.
