Türkiye passport holders need a visa for Egypt, issued by an embassy or consulate before travel.
Türkiye's Foreign Ministry says Egypt applies a visa to Turkish ordinary-passport holders, and issues a one-month entry visa at border crossings to Turkish citizens under 20 or over 45.

Türkiye citizens need a visa issued in advance by an embassy or consulate of Egypt. Start the application several weeks before departure: you will typically need a passport valid for six months with blank pages, a completed application form, passport photos, a travel itinerary, proof of accommodation and of sufficient funds, and sometimes an invitation letter or bank statements.

Egypt lets 3 passports in without a visa, offers a visa on arrival to 44, issues eVisas to 78 and requires an embassy visa from 73. No official source we could read states a return or onward ticket requirement for every visitor. The eVisa portal lists a travel itinerary and hotel bookings or details of the places you will visit among the documents to show on arrival, and the Egyptian Consulate in Washington asks visa applicants for a copy of a round-trip ticket.

The UK government says that leaving Egypt on an expired visa may bring difficulties, including a fine if the visa expired more than 14 days earlier. The Canadian government says you may be fined on departure if you overstay your 30-day visa without authorisation. No Egyptian official page we read states the amount.

The UK government's travel advice says foreign currency worth more than 10,000 USD must be declared on arrival and that there is no limit on the amount of foreign currency you can bring. You can bring up to 5,000 Egyptian pounds into or out of Egypt.
