What the Indonesia visa rules mean for Finland travellers
Finland passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Indonesia for stays of up to 30 days. There is nothing to apply for in advance — the visa is issued at the airport or land border after you pay the fee. Bring cash in a major currency, a passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket and the address of your first night's accommodation, and expect a queue at busy airports.
The main option is the Visa on Arrival, which costs 500,000 IDR. Indonesia also offers Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) — see the visa options above.

- Blank passport pages: Your passport needs at least 2 blank pages.
- Vaccinations: Yellow fever: WHO says Indonesia requires proof of yellow fever vaccination from travellers aged 9 months or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
- Travel insurance: No official source we could read states a travel-insurance requirement for entry to Indonesia. Canada's travel advice tells travellers to get insurance that covers medical evacuation and hospital stays.
