What the Japan visa rules mean for India travellers
India passport holders need an eVisa to enter Japan. You apply online, upload a passport scan and a photo, pay the fee and receive the visa by email; it allows stays of up to 90 days. The main option is the Japan eVisa — single entry, tourism, which costs 15,000 JPY with a processing time of 5 business days. Japan also offers Short-Term Stay Visa — Single Entry — see the visa options above.
