Which routes are operating and when?
The service is seasonal. Flights to Belize run three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 26 October 2026 through 3 May 2027. The Turks & Caicos route follows the same schedule — Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays over the same period. A second BermudAir departure to the Turks & Caicos was scheduled to leave Fort Lauderdale at 5:40 p.m. on the launch day.
Bermuda flights restart later, on 20 December 2026, running once a week on Sundays through 14 March 2027. The airline said a second weekly flight is under consideration.
What aircraft and fares are on offer?
BermudAir is no longer strictly a business-class carrier and is now selling economy-level fares on its 96-seat Embraer-190 jetliners. The airline is marking its third anniversary and says it is targeting a broader range of travellers. Seth Bailey, the airline's vice president of commercial, said the company sees strong demand and is exploring other Caribbean opportunities from Fort Lauderdale during peak travel periods.
What have officials said?
Belize's Minister of Tourism, Youth, Sports and Diaspora Relations, Anthony Mahler, said the routes mark an important milestone in the country's efforts to strengthen air connectivity and expand access. He said direct access from Florida and other U.S. East Coast gateways would let more travellers reach Belize's cultural heritage, barrier reef and ancient Maya sites.
Mark Gale, CEO and director of aviation at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, welcomed the airline back to Terminal 4, the concourse once dominated by the now defunct Spirit Airlines. BermudAir was certified to fly by U.S. and Bermuda regulators in 2023 and operates from L.F. Wade International Airport near Hamilton.
What this means for travellers
Travellers from South Florida now have direct seasonal options to Belize and the Turks & Caicos on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until 3 May 2027, departing from Terminal 4 at FLL. Those heading to Bermuda should note the later start date of 20 December 2026 and the weekly Sunday schedule.
BermudAir's wider network includes Boston, Baltimore/Washington, New York–Westchester County, Newark, Orlando Sanford, Raleigh-Durham, St. Petersburg–Clearwater and the Canadian cities of Toronto, Montréal and Halifax. Seasonal service also covers Anguilla, Grand Cayman and Guatemala. No decision has been announced on the possible second weekly Bermuda flight.
