In July 2027, the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia will welcome a new boutique glamping experience called Samkani Camp. This innovative accommodation will feature six architect-designed Airstream campers, offering a unique way to explore the world's largest salt flat.
About Samkani Camp
Samkani Camp, developed by A&K Sanctuary, will consist of five luxurious suites and a dining venue, all designed to reflect the stunning surroundings of the salt flat. The campers will incorporate blue Bolivian marble and stainless steel accents, providing a stylish and comfortable retreat for visitors.
Experience the Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni is renowned for its vastness and unique climate, spanning over 10,582 square kilometers at an altitude of 3,656 meters. The site is particularly breathtaking during the wet season from December to April, when it transforms into a mirror-like landscape. Samkani Camp aims to enhance this experience by offering more than 30 guided excursions to help guests connect with the local culture and environment.
