Iran citizens need a visa issued in advance by an embassy or consulate of Palestine. Start the application several weeks before departure: you will typically need a passport valid for six months with blank pages, a completed application form, passport photos, a travel itinerary, proof of accommodation and of sufficient funds, and sometimes an invitation letter or bank statements.

The main option is the Israeli B/2 Visitor Visa, which costs 32 USD.

Overstay penalties

The entry procedure for foreigners published by Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) for the Judea and Samaria area (the West Bank) says it is forbidden to remain there after the permit expires unless it has been extended. When an entry permit is requested, an authorised COGAT official may require a bank or cash guarantee to ensure the foreigner leaves when the permit ends. If the foreigner does not comply with the terms of the guarantee, a COGAT official considers whether the deposited sum may be confiscated.
