Visa & Entry Requirements for Palestine
Most travellers can visit Palestine without going to an embassy: 3 passports enter visa-free, 2 apply online for an eVisa and 102 get a visa on arrival.
The UK government says the Israeli authorities control entry to Palestine, including by sea to Gaza, and that you must show a passport and Israeli immigration slip to cross between Israel and Palestine. Canada's travel advice says travellers must pass through Israeli ports of entry and comply with Israeli entry requirements. Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) says citizens of countries with a visa exemption agreement with Israel visiting the Judea and Samaria Area only may, as a rule, apply on arrival at the Allenby Bridge Crossing, and that foreigners visiting the Area and Israel in parallel are handled under the procedures of Israel's Population and Immigration Authority. The Authority says applications for B/2 tourist visas can be submitted at Israeli missions in the country of origin, and that under its eVisa-B2 pilot Indian and Sri Lankan passport holders residing in India and Sri Lanka can apply online. The UK says border crossings out of Gaza have been closed to civilians and general traffic since the Israeli military took control of the Rafah crossing on 6 May 2024.
