Palestine Visa Requirements for Liechtenstein Citizens

Visa on arrival · 90 days

Liechtenstein passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Palestine for stays of up to 90 days — no application is needed before the trip.

Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) says citizens of countries with a visa exemption agreement with Israel who come to the Judea and Samaria Area only to visit are not, as a rule, required to apply in advance, and may submit their permit application on arrival at the Allenby Bridge Crossing.

“Foreigners who are citizens of countries signed to a visa exemption agreement with Israel who arrive in the Judea and Samaria area for the purpose of visiting only, and who request a permit under this part of the procedure, shall not, as a rule, be required to submit an application in advance; they will be allowed to submit the application upon arriving at the Allenby Bridge Crossing”

What the Palestine visa rules mean for Liechtenstein travellers

Liechtenstein passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Palestine for stays of up to 90 days. There is nothing to apply for in advance — the visa is issued at the airport or land border after you pay the fee. Bring cash in a major currency, a passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket and the address of your first night's accommodation, and expect a queue at busy airports.

The main option is the B/2 visit permit for the Judea and Samaria Area.

Overstay penalties

The entry procedure for foreigners published by Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) for the Judea and Samaria area (the West Bank) says it is forbidden to remain there after the permit expires unless it has been extended. When an entry permit is requested, an authorised COGAT official may require a bank or cash guarantee to ensure the foreigner leaves when the permit ends. If the foreigner does not comply with the terms of the guarantee, a COGAT official considers whether the deposited sum may be confiscated.
