The Hong Kong Tourism Board has confirmed that the annual Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival will run from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space, with the Victoria Harbour skyline as its backdrop. The four-day event is followed by a month of dining offers at restaurants and bars across the city.

Key facts

  • Dates: 29 October to 1 November 2026 (four days)
  • Venue: Central Harbourfront Event Space, Hong Kong
  • Scale: more than 300 booths, including wine booths and dining partners
  • Wine & Dine Month: runs throughout November at restaurants and bars citywide
  • Announced: 16 October 2026 by the Hong Kong Tourism Board

What is on offer at the harbourfront festival?

The festival site will hold more than 300 booths covering wine and food, along with live entertainment, over the four days. The Grand Wine Pavilion will showcase more than 20 selections from premium wine merchants, and will host more than 20 expert-led masterclasses and tastings led by Master Sommeliers and industry specialists, covering wine regions, winemaking and vintages.

A Tasting Room will bring together chefs from Hong Kong and abroad, serving specially created tasting menus that are available only during the festival and paired with fine wines.

Which wines and dishes are featured?

The wine line-up spans China, France, Italy, Spain, Georgia and the United Kingdom, with new pavilions from Australia, Canada and South Korea. The programme also covers sparkling teas, low-alcohol craft beers, Asian wines and creative cocktails.

Bordeaux wines are a major focus this year, following a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB). Visitors are promised access to internationally known Bordeaux labels and exclusive tasting experiences.

Named chefs presenting exclusive creations in the Tasting Room include Edward Lee, known from Netflix's Culinary Class Wars; Thierry Marx, described as a master of French gastronomy with a Michelin-starred career; Chen Zhi Ping of Shanghai's Meet the Bund, recognised by Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026, the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and Michelin; and Justin Yang Yan Bin of Hong Kong's QUAN, named first runner-up in The Divine Dish China.

A new addition, "Only in Hong Kong" Flavours, involves more than 100 restaurants — including Michelin-starred venues, luxury hotels and local favourites — offering limited-edition signature dishes ranging from chef-created specials to iconic street food.

What happens after the four-day event?

Hong Kong Wine & Dine Month continues throughout November, with special menus and exclusive offers at participating restaurants and bars across the city.

What this means for travellers

Travellers planning to be in Hong Kong between 29 October and 1 November 2026 can visit the Central Harbourfront Event Space for the main festival, while those arriving later in November can look for Wine & Dine Month menus and offers at participating venues citywide. The announcement does not state ticket prices, daily opening hours or how to book the masterclasses and Tasting Room menus.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board says the full festival programme is published on its destination website, and travellers can use it to plan their trip around the dates.
