Hong Kong Promotes Yacht Tourism at Monaco Yacht Show
The Hong Kong Tourism Board made its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, aiming to position Hong Kong as a leading hub for yacht tourism and marine business in Asia.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) recently participated in the Monaco Yacht Show, held from September 23 to 26, 2026. This event marked a significant step in HKTB's efforts to establish Hong Kong as a premier destination for yacht tourism and marine business in Asia.
Showcasing Hong Kong's Strengths
At the Monaco Yacht Show, HKTB collaborated with various partners, including the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office and the Airport Authority Hong Kong, to present a unified front. The participation aimed to engage yacht owners, industry leaders, and high-net-worth individuals, showcasing Hong Kong's strengths in tourism, aviation, and international trade.
Strategic Partnerships for Growth
This initiative is part of a three-year Strategic City Partnership with Informa Markets, which will see HKTB participate in various luxury and lifestyle exhibitions globally. The partnership aims to enhance Hong Kong's profile within the luxury and marine sectors while promoting the upcoming Festival of Connoisseurs (TFOC) set to debut in Hong Kong in November 2026.
Future Events and Opportunities
As part of its strategy, Hong Kong is set to host the inaugural TFOC from November 4 to 6, 2026. This event will feature a unique concept that transforms the city into a showcase for luxury and lifestyle experiences, further solidifying its role as a hub for marine tourism and business networking.
With its natural harbour, extensive air connectivity, and ongoing improvements to yacht entry procedures, Hong Kong is positioning itself as an attractive destination for yacht owners and marine businesses. The city's calendar of international marine events, including SailGP and the Dragon World Championship, enhances its appeal as a year-round destination for marine tourism.
