Air Serbia will launch six new direct routes from Belgrade in summer 2027, adding flights to Yerevan, Helsinki, Miami, Cluj-Napoca, Chișinău and Menorca. Travellers gain a new transatlantic option and new links to Armenia, Finland, Romania, Moldova and Spain.

Travellers flying through Belgrade will have six new direct destinations to choose from next summer. Air Serbia has confirmed it will add routes from Belgrade to Yerevan, Helsinki, Miami, Cluj-Napoca, Chișinău and Menorca during the summer 2027 season, with launches spread out from 28 March to 16 June 2027.
Key facts

- Helsinki: resumes 1 April 2027, three flights a week

- Chișinău: from 3 June 2027, four flights a week
- Menorca: from 16 June 2027, twice a week
When does each route start?
Yerevan is first off the ground on 28 March 2027, with three weekly flights that rise to four from mid-June, operated by an Airbus A319. Helsinki follows on 1 April 2027 with three weekly flights on an Embraer 195; Air Serbia last flew the route in 2019 before it was suspended due to COVID.
Miami launches on 20 May 2027 with two weekly Airbus A330 services. Cluj-Napoca starts on 31 May 2027 with four weekly flights on an ATR72, followed by Chișinău on 3 June 2027 with four weekly ATR72 flights. Menorca is the final addition, beginning 16 June 2027 with two weekly Airbus A319 flights.
What does the Miami route mean for travellers?
Miami becomes Air Serbia's third destination in the United States, alongside New York and Chicago; the airline also flies to Toronto in Canada. The carrier says the new route strengthens connections between the region and North America and improves travel opportunities to Latin America and the Caribbean.
Cluj-Napoca becomes Air Serbia's second destination in Romania after Bucharest, while Menorca becomes its ninth in Spain. Yerevan continues the airline's expansion in the Caucasus region, following its existing flights to Tbilisi and Baku, and Chișinău adds a direct link to Moldova's capital.
Why is Air Serbia expanding?
Chief executive Jiří Marek said the airline is expanding its network as part of a strategy for sustainable growth, developing transfer traffic and positioning Belgrade as a leading air travel hub in this part of Europe. He said the route launches form part of broader network development ahead of EXPO 2027, which is expected to increase demand for flights to Belgrade.
Fleet changes
During 2027, Air Serbia plans to replace two Airbus A319 aircraft with higher-capacity Airbus A320 aircraft seating 180 passengers. The short- and medium-haul fleet will also gain an Embraer E195 with 118 seats. The airline has also indicated it plans to increase flight frequencies across the network in 2027.
Air Serbia says further network growth will be accompanied by fleet expansion. Travellers considering any of the six new routes can check the individual launch dates and weekly frequencies above when planning trips from late March 2027 onwards.
