Caribbean Airlines has announced three additions to its network, giving travellers more ways to reach and leave Trinidad and Tobago before the winter season. The airline said on 2 October 2026 that it will launch a non-stop Tobago–Toronto service, restart passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas and operate charter flights between Trinidad and Panama.

Key facts

  • 25 October 2026: weekly non-stop Tobago–Toronto flights begin, operating on Sundays
  • 31 October 2026: commercial passenger service between Trinidad and Caracas resumes
  • 1 December 2026 to 9 February 2027: charter flights between Trinidad and Panama on selected Tuesdays and Fridays
  • Announced on 2 October 2026 by Caribbean Airlines
  • Schedules, fares and booking availability have not yet been published

What new routes are starting?

From 25 October 2026, Caribbean Airlines will fly once a week between Tobago and Toronto, with the service running on Sundays. The airline described the route as a direct link between Tobago and one of its key international markets, timed to support family visits and tourism ahead of the peak winter travel period.

From 31 October 2026, the airline will resume commercial passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas in Venezuela. Caribbean Airlines said the service restores direct air connectivity between the neighbouring countries and is intended to support business travel and tourism.

What is happening between Trinidad and Panama?

Between 1 December 2026 and 9 February 2027, Caribbean Airlines will operate a series of charter flights between Trinidad and Panama. These will run on selected Tuesdays and Fridays and are aimed at the Christmas and Carnival periods, with the airline citing tourism and trade as reasons for the additional capacity.

Where can travellers find schedules and fares?

Caribbean Airlines has not published timetables, fares or booking details in the announcement. The airline said customers should follow its official communication channels for further information on schedules, fares and booking availability.

What this means for travellers

Travellers planning trips between Tobago and Canada, Trinidad and Venezuela, or Trinidad and Panama have new direct options from late October and December 2026. The Panama flights are charters on selected days only and end on 9 February 2027, so anyone hoping to use them over Christmas or Carnival should watch for the schedule and booking details when Caribbean Airlines releases them.

No further route announcements, aircraft details or additional dates have been confirmed. The airline said the expanded services are intended to offer more choice for leisure, business and family travel.
