easyJet Holidays has launched a promotion aimed at parents taking their baby abroad for the first time. Families booking selected package holidays can claim a £66.50 discount, which the holiday operator says matches the cost of applying online for a standard British child's passport.

Key facts

  • £66.50 off selected package holidays, equal to the online cost of a standard British child's passport
  • Promotional code: FIRSTPASSPORT, used when booking through easyJet Holidays
  • New bookings must be made before 26 November 2026
  • Eligible holidays must be completed by 31 October 2028
  • The child must be under two years old when travelling
  • No minimum spend; one discount per booking

What is on offer?

The discount is applied to the holiday booking rather than paid out as cash. Parents still apply for and pay for the passport themselves, and the passport office does not refund them, easyJet Holidays said. There is no minimum spending requirement, but only one discount can be used per booking.

Who can use it and by when?

The offer covers new bookings made before 26 November 2026 on selected easyJet Holidays package holidays. Eligible trips must be completed by 31 October 2028. The child travelling must be under two years old at the time of travel.

Why is easyJet Holidays doing this?

Research commissioned by easyJet found that one in ten parents did not realise their baby needed a separate passport until they started planning a holiday. Almost a quarter of parents surveyed said it took them up to six attempts to get an acceptable passport photograph.

easyJet Holidays also reported a 10% increase in the number of infants travelling with the company this year compared with 2025.

What this means for travellers

Parents planning a trip with a baby can reduce the overall cost by entering the code FIRSTPASSPORT when booking an eligible package holiday before 26 November 2026. The saving comes off the holiday price, so the passport application must still be arranged and paid for separately.

The offer runs until the booking deadline of 26 November 2026, with eligible travel possible up to 31 October 2028. No further phases or extensions of the promotion have been announced.
