Breeze Airways will launch year-round nonstop flights from Tampa to Santo Domingo starting June 2027, enhancing travel options to the Dominican Republic.
Tampa International Airport (TPA) has announced that Breeze Airways will begin offering nonstop flights to Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, starting June 18, 2027. This marks a significant development as it will be the first year-round service connecting Tampa to Santo Domingo.
Flight Details
The new route will operate twice a week, with flights scheduled on Fridays and Mondays. Breeze will utilize an Airbus A220-300 for this service. The flight from Tampa is set to depart at 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Santo Domingo at 1:25 p.m., while the return flight will leave Santo Domingo at 2:25 p.m. and arrive back in Tampa at 5:30 p.m.
Growing Travel Options
This new service to Santo Domingo is the second destination in the Dominican Republic that Breeze has introduced from Tampa this year, following the launch of nonstop flights to Punta Cana earlier. Breeze Airways aims to cater to the increasing demand for affordable travel options in the Tampa area.
