Air Serbia opens ticket sales for six new Belgrade routes launching in 2027
Air Serbia has put tickets on sale for six new routes from Belgrade launching between the end of March and mid-June 2027, and plans to add four aircraft to its fleet next year.

Air Serbia has finalised its schedules and opened ticket sales for six new routes from Belgrade that will launch in 2027, adding links to Armenia, Finland, the United States, Romania, Moldova and Spain. The airline also expects to add four more aircraft to its fleet next year.
Key facts
- New destinations: Yerevan, Helsinki, Miami, Cluj, Chisinau and Menorca
- First flights run from the end of March to mid-June 2027
- Services range from twice weekly (Miami) to four times weekly
- Helsinki returns to the network after a seven-year absence
- Four additional aircraft are expected to arrive during 2027
Which routes are launching and when?
Yerevan is first, with flights starting at the end of March 2027, followed by Helsinki on 1 April 2027 and Miami on 20 May 2027. Cluj comes next at the end of May 2027, then Chisinau on 3 June 2027 and Menorca on 16 June 2027. Tickets for all six routes are already on sale.
How often will the new flights operate?
Flights to the Armenian capital will begin three times per week and rise to four from mid-June. Helsinki will be served three times weekly, Miami twice weekly, and both Cluj and Chisinau four times per week. A frequency for Menorca has not been announced.
Air Serbia will compete on the Belgrade–Yerevan route with FlyOne Armenia, which is launching its own service between the two capitals in December this year. Together the two carriers will offer seven weekly departures in each direction on a city pair that has never had a scheduled air link. Menorca becomes the airline's ninth destination in Spain, following three new Spanish routes introduced this year alone, while Miami marks the sixth consecutive year in which Air Serbia has added a new long-haul destination.
Which routes are returning or new to the network?
Helsinki returns after a seven-year gap: the Finnish capital was last served in March 2020, when flights were suspended at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic and never reinstated. That original service, launched in June 2019, lasted less than ten months.
Chisinau will launch six years after Air Serbia first planned flights to the Moldovan capital; the route was originally due to start in 2020 but was shelved after the coronavirus outbreak. Cluj, in northwestern Romania, becomes the airline's second Romanian destination alongside its existing Bucharest operations. Cluj Airport is a base for Wizz Air and is also served by Swiss, LOT Polish Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, while TAROM connects the city with Bucharest.
What is happening to Air Serbia's fleet?
The airline added three Airbus A320s and one Embraer E195 this year, and has secured two further A320s and another Embraer for delivery in 2027. Negotiations for one additional Airbus aircraft are in the final stages, which would bring the total to four more aircraft next year. One of the incoming jets is expected to carry a special centenary livery.
Chief executive Mr Marek said Belgrade "has already established itself as a regional hub", with passengers connecting through the airport to more than 100 destinations. He said passenger numbers have increased by 6% so far this year and that revenue is also growing.
What this means for travellers
Travellers can book the six new routes now, with the earliest departures at the end of March 2027. Those heading to Yerevan, Helsinki, Cluj or Chisinau should note the three to four weekly frequencies, while Miami is served twice per week.
Mr Marek said the airline will also strengthen its existing network next summer by increasing frequencies on a number of routes. He said the launch of new routes depends on available capacity, and that destinations are introduced when they are deemed profitable. No further new destinations for 2027 have been announced.
